You mean a dirt oval sprint car? I know Moody made some, not sure if they're still available though.

Andrew, did you find any 1/8 scale sources?

I am trying to get ahold of a set of Moody prints. I have been in contact with 2 groups making sprinters again.

A good frind of mine built a Moody and raced in in ND; when he died of cancer it was give to a relative. Unfortunately they don't know what a special piece of equipment they have.

I have been going through my parts and decided it would be a good project to get my boys involved in.

If I get going to make some parts are you interested in duplicates?

Finding the moody parts is gonna be a hard thing now, Roy died last year in the fall, and there werent all that many of his sprint cars to begin with, 300ish. Your best bet is to look on sleezebay, there is usually a quarter scale sprinter on every month or so.

In addition to the Ofna late model Dirt Oval car, they are coming out with an open wheel sprinter. It's still 4wd, but the overall look is right. More info: [link=http://www.ofna.com/hyper-sprint.php]Ofna Sprinter[/link]

I have a complete set of Roy Moody Automotive 1/8 scale sprint car plans plus 4 pages of working drawings. All the parts on mine are hand made except for the rear axle housing which I bought from Moody. Started this 25yrs ago and am going to finish it.
I also have a set of plans for his 1/12 modified car and his 1/10 scale sprint car.
Plans are old and a bit faint so I don't know how well they will copy

I've been wanting to build one for a bit now. Any plans that anyone could send my way would be greatly appreciated.

I'm absolutely love dirt track racing.
Anyone also happen to have plans for a 1/10ish modified body?
