I am going to be doing mine the red and white version, will post pics as soon as I am at that stage.
Currently still lots of prep work, and scale details before painting.

Receive my hawk from fej it’s just a real shame that TNT could not deliver it with out damaging it but have been in contact with fej and they are sending out replacement parts which I thought was good of them as it’s not there fault,
but as far from the air frame it’s seams very good,I have had it looked over by the LMA inspector and he’s happy with it so I am starting to build ,just wondering if anyone has the C of G and the throws as I have no instructions at all will post photos next

Hi it’s come out at 28kg it’s got a b300f turbine and Jeti cb 200 ,I had to change the thrust tube as it wasn’t up to the job and didn’t want to take the risk , as for the quality for the price I don’t think it’s bad over all

Default C of G

Hi I finally got my hawk caa passed off few weeks ago my c of g was set at 250mm from LE ,but after flying it I did more it back slightly,ps have you set up the elevator servos with a meter as after one flight one of my servos burnt out and I did match them with the servo matching on the radio but to find out that they was miles out when I put a volt meter on both of them ,email me if you need anything else

Thanks for your info, I am currently at the 280mm mark which I thought should be close for a maiden. Fingers crossed hopefully flying next few days. Beautiful model

Yes I just heard from Electron last night they are ready to ship might take a couple of weeks to arrive. Need to have them installed for a event at Easter. Hoping they are a easy fit out. I will let you know how it goes

They were pretty easy to put in, anything fits with a Dremel!! Only required minimal sanding to fit.. very happy so far

I do not have the doors on yet, I had a flame out which damaged the main gear door air valves. Will order Electron actuators later on and sort out the gear doors then. There was a bit of Dremel work needed to get the gear down correctly as it just hit the bottom of fuse on rotation. The LG unit is pushed as far out as possible on the wing and new mounting holes were required. I had the model inverted lowered the gear and just moved it around and sanded until could get the best fit. Taking it out flying tomorrow will try to remember and get a few pictures
