I reduced my tail wheel travel to a point which it give a 40' diameter turn. It tracks with ease on takeoff and landing. Like any warbird, don't hammer the throttle on take off.

My tires appear to be the same material as my other robart aluminum wheels. 20 flights so far on asphalt and all is great.

For me it is air only on bigger gear. It isn't that hard to trace leaks if they happen. My Hellcat gear have been what I expect out of Robart. They hold air and go up and down, that's all I ask. ...

They had to do a whole new tooling for a new design.
Chinese labor has increased a lot in the last few years. This is why a lot of mfging is moving...

This is the first plane with a 3 piece wing and 4 flaps. So it is more design effort than the other planes.
