Interesting comments about flying with the drop tank installed, wonder what is going on there? I did notice that your tank is tucked up pretty tight against the belly pan, much tighter than scale. ...

You would all be better off with the Don Smith canopy since it is the same size as the TF airplane. The Ziroli Hellcat is a much bigger airplane.

I don't know the cowl dimensions of the TF bird...

I don't know the cowl dimensions of the TF bird but I do have a 1/6th scale Hellcat of my own design and I can tell you that the FG90 would NOT fit in my cowl unless you were to put a shaft extension...

Agreed Lifer, but should not be too hard to modify. This would allow for the elimination of the giant cooling hole in the bottom of the cowling as well.
