I installed the EME60 with electric start in my fiberglassed RTC Hellcat. I haven’t had the chance to maiden the plane yet, but I love the electric start and the smooth running EME60.

RBean’s wing joiner method works great. I used hex head bolts and a t-nuts. I also added an o-ring to keep the bolts in place. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for the reply. Using the 1/4” bolt would allow me to cover the wing spar screw access holes when I fiberglass the wing.

Was the flap joiner tab in your ARF glued into the outboard wing section...

Good idea. The stock rods are 4-40. I just tried a 2-56 push rod and it still binds. I can see that the outer tube takes a visible bend just prior to the exit hole which is the binding point.

My RTC Hellcat has the same pushrod binding issue for both elevators and the rudder. Did you cut a slot behind where the pushrod tub exits the fuselage?
